Went to Scarborough to have an enlargment done and took a pic of the last sign of the

Cascade Restaurant..

Not sure how long they will keep this up...so I wanted to have a little piece of history

Took a small ride on RT 35 today and got this shot...

I believe that this use to be a small wood processing spot...

This spot in a way if you do not know is there you'll drive right by it....

Ram Island

There's an Island off the coast of Camo Ellis Maine that I've been wantint to get a pic of...

Well today I decide to take a walk out on the cogsway...

I went out as far as I could go and got this pic...

I even think there may be a small light house on it...

I didn't realize how far out I was till I turned around to see the walk back...

The pic was well worth it though..

I was finally able to get the shot that I wanted...

Too bad the trees are in the way...the trees do give it some depth though..

Looked out the window this morning and it looked just perfect to try and get a shot...

I can look out my window and to the left of the church and see Mt. Washington...

I guess I'll just keep trying...

Clear Day

Finally after 4 days of lousy and cloudy weather we finally got some sunshine...

I decided to go check out and see if an old friend was still working where they use to and

suprise them with a visit (haven't seen her in over 2 years)

She was there and I stopped by Ferry Beach on the way home abd got this great pic...

It's amazing how things can change in just a few hours...two hours ago it was snowing heavy

and now the sun is shining...

Security Lobster

Went to Fortunes Rocks this morning with coffee and boy was it cold...

The wind coming off the ocean went right though you...

There were still people on the beach walking...

Any beach time is great...

Took this as I was leaving...could not get too close because of the dune grass...

I went to check kout a place that I heard about through Saco Bay Trails..

I live no more than 5 min from this place and have never gone.

The 365  challange is making me check out places that I've never been.

This is located behind Rapid Rays Hot Dog Stand..

Fortunes Rocks

I went to Fortunes Rocks yestarday morning...I try and get there at least once a week for coffee in there for coffee and the sea air...

Took this with my cell phone.

I should get my camera back today and I'll hopefully continue with the 365..

365 Challange

I just wanted to pass on that I wll not be able to do the challange for a week.

Camera is in the shop for cleaning...I was getting spots in my pictures and it was frustrating me.

I'm defenitly going to continue once I get my camera back.

Portland Headlight

Went to the Headlight today and wanted to get some flurries in the pic.

If you look good you can see them. It was real cold and the fog horn was going...

what a soothing sound.

Here it is day 4 of this storm and it's still snowing over our fair city.

It's suppose to stop today ( I Hope )

Looks like we're going to have gotten about 11"

Hit by a wave

Went for a ride in our snow storm to see how the high tide was at Fortunes Rocks and got a little too close and got this pic at the same time as getting hit by the wave.
