Quechee VT

Took a ride to Woodstock Vt last week and made a few stops on the way home. Got some great pics and wanted to share them. Here's a view looking down at the Quechee Gorge, Quechee VT,from the bridge. When traffic goes over the bridge you can actually feel it vibrate.

On the way back we stopped by Taftsville and I got a great shot of this waterfall from a covered bridge.

This is a view looking out a window at Billings Farm annn Musuem in Woodstock.

Spring Point

I went to Spring Point in S.Portland. This is where the oil tankers come in to unload. I was fortunate enough to have my camera with meand was able to get these great shots.

I really enjoyed this one to the point that I had it enlarged and matted and frammed.
This is the finished project.
As soon as the weather gets better in Maine I'll hope fully be able to get out and get more great pics

Amish Buggy

This accoding to what I was told is
a potato planter and they turned it into a beautiful flower bed. It was just beautiful.

Went to an antique tractor show yestarday in Elliot and came across this buggy. They got it from Ohio and came in like it was a puzzle. The lady who owns it always wanted one and her son find one and got it for her. She told us about how she went to Amish Country and many times and really fell in love with the way that they lived.

This is the Marion who owns the wagon. She explained to us how they had to make some of the parts and modify them to make them fit.

her and her husband hasn't returned to visit them in 2 yrs due to husband having a 5 bypass surgery. They are trying to plan to go this year.

Cape porpoise

I took a small ride the other day and sat and relaxed by a small fishing village in Cape Porpoise. This area also host Goat Island Lighthouse. This is a great spot to just go and relax and watch some fisherman work.

I do want to get there at night to see if I can get a pic of the light on.

My Little Sweetie

Wanted to post a pic of my grand daughter. She's 8 months old and finally cut a tooth and is starting to enjoy regular food

Just wanted to post a shot of Nubble light in York, ME. I took this on New Years Eve Day. It was bitter cold. The temp was about -3 with a winnd chill alot colder and we were having a snow storm. This reminded me of the New Years that we all went upto see the Christmas Lights on the Light house. We went up with our cousin Joan ( Joansie ) from Vermont.
